Orientation Day is scheduled for Tuesday 10th December 2024. 

Please arrive at the Kel Watson Theatre, Forest Hill College at 8.45am.  Please bring a drink bottle and packed lunch.

On arrival students will be organized into their 2025 Connect Group and will follow a high school timetable, experiencing various classes throughout the day.

Students are requested to wear their Primary School Uniform with comfortable sport shoes.

Parents will have the opportunity to visit the General Office to finalise any enrolment or financial paperwork.

Students will be dismissed at 3.15pm.

Families will be receiving their enrolment packs in the mail. The enrolment packs will be mailed out on the week beginning August 19th 2025.

Forest Hill College utilises Compass to assist parents, students and staff in the College with organisation and communication.

Using our Parent Portal you will be able to:

• View news items published by the school
• View up to date class and school attendance information
• Approve or enter upcoming or past absences for your child
• View the details of and consent and pay for school events such as incursions and excursions
• Attend to course confirmation and payments for camps, essential education items and electives
• Access your child’s Student Semester Reports
• Book your Parent/Student/Teacher interviews

Students will be allocated a user name and password upon the commencement of the academic year in 2025.

Existing families will continue to use their Compass Parent ID and Password.

Families new to the College will receive their unique user name and password at the Parent Information Night on Wednesday November 13th 2024, at 6pm.  If do not received your Compass log in details at the Parent Information Night, please contact the General Office on 98149444 or email fhc@fhc.vic.edu.au to request your user name and password.

The CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

The CSEF payment cannot be used towards voluntary school charges, books, stationery, school uniforms, music lessons, or formals/graduations. To view further information click here.

Year 7 and Prep students in government schools who receive the CSEF fund are also able to get support for school uniforms. For more information regarding this initiative, see State Schools’ Relief by clicking here.

 In Year 7 you will have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument free of charge. Lessons occur during school hours.

Welcome to the FHC Sport, STEAM & Performing Arts Academy. At Forest Hill College you have the opportunity to become involved in a diverse range of activities through our Academies. For those of you who have a keen interest in AFL, Basketball, Soccer, STEAM or the Performing Arts, our Academies gives you a chance to participate four mornings per week.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to start your day with an activity that you are truly passionate about, learn from great coaches and mentors and connect with other students who share your passion.
