Parents will be invited to a Year 7 Parent Information Evening, which will be held mid 2026.

Orientation Day will be held on Tuesday December 8th 2026. Please arrive at the Kel Watson Theatre, Forest Hill College at 8:45am.

Students should wear their Primary School uniform with comfortable sport shoes, bring a drink bottle and a packed lunch. On arrival students will be organised into their 2027 Connect Group and will follow a high school timetable, experiencing various classes throughout the day.

Parents will have the opportunity to visit the General Office to finalise any enrolment or financial paperwork. Students will be dismissed at 3:15pm

Forest Hill College utilises Compass to assist parents, students and staff in the College with organisation and communication. Using Compass, you will be able to:

→ View news items published by the school

→ View up to date class and school attendance information

→ Approve or enter upcoming or past absences for your child

→ View the details and consent and pay for school events, such as incursions and excursions

→ Attend to course confirmation and payments for camps, essential education items and electives

→ Access your child’s Student Semester Reports

→ Book you Parent/Student/Teacher interviews

Students will be allocated a username and password upon the commencement of the 2027 academic year.

Existing families will continue to use their Compass Parent ID and Password. Families new to the College will receive their unique username and password at the Parent Information Night. If you do not receive your Compass log in details at the Parent Information Night, please contact the General Office on 9814 9444 or email fhc@fhc.vic.edu.au to request your username and password.

Bring Your Own Device Program

At Forest Hill College we have a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program for all students.

Uniform
Our uniform is supplied by Bob Stewart.

Instrumental Music Program
In Year 7 all students have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument. Lessons occur during school hours. To enrol in the 2027 program, please complete the Expression of Interest form in your enrolment pack or contact us on 9814 9444 or fhc@fhc.vic.edu.au

Academy Program
At Forest Hill College we offer STEAM, Performing Arts, and Soccer Academies. Academy students attend sessions four mornings per week.

Parent Payments
Camps Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF). The CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities. To view further information, click here.

The CSEF payment cannot be used towards voluntary school charges, books, stationary, school uniforms, music lessons or formals/graduations. To view further information, click here.

Year 7 and Prep students in Government schools who received the CSEF are also able to get support for school uniforms.
