A vibrant and welcoming hub
Library
At the heart of Forest Hill College, our library is a vibrant and welcoming hub that inspires a lifelong love of reading, learning, and discovery. Open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, it’s a space students enjoy throughout the day—before school, during recess and lunch, and after classes finish.
The library caters to every interest and learning style, offering a diverse collection of fiction and non-fiction, quiet areas for reading and study, collaborative and social spaces, a dedicated classroom area, and a range of engaging activities including puzzles and games. It also hosts a variety of student clubs, such as our popular book club and Dungeons & Dragons group, creating opportunities for connection and creativity beyond the classroom.
Recognised and respected within both the Australian author and school library communities, our library team regularly contributes to conferences, professional publications, webinars, podcasts, and has an active and vibrant social media presence. These strong professional connections enrich our students’ experiences through author visits and unique mentorship opportunities.
Whether students are looking for a quiet place to focus, a space to collaborate, or simply somewhere to connect with friends, our library offers a supportive and inspiring environment, guided by passionate and knowledgeable staff.
